Crushed lavender buds update this traditional recipe, but use a light touch with this mint-family herb to avoid overwhelming the other flavors. Adapted by Debra Daniels-Zeller, this gluten-free dessert takes advantage of the PNW’s signature cherry and rhubarb crops. Top it off with a frozen coconut, rice, or dairy-based confection!
