Pure Power Salad

As we make our way into the blaze of summer, we can prepare ourselves by cleansing, purifying, and cooling our inner self. The ingredients in this salad are known to assist the body in detoxification processes, especially spinach, broccoli sprouts, pomegranate, and sesame. The hemp seeds, avocado, and flaxseed oil contribute important fats that support the heart. Let this powerhouse salad harness your inner fire and nourish your heart on those warm pre-summer afternoons!

2 handfuls organic, pre-washed spinach
½ cup broccoli sprouts
¼ cup fresh pomegranate seeds
2 Tbs deshelled hemp seeds
½ avocado, cubed


2 Tbs balsamic vinegar
1 Tbs toasted sesame oil
1 Tbs flaxseed oil

Put spinach in a bowl and top with broccoli sprouts, pomegranate seeds, deshelled hemp seeds, and avocado cubes. In a separate bowl, mix together balsamic vinegar, sesame and flaxseed oils. Pour the dressing over the assembled salad and eat with love!
